Three years ago, we proudly signed up with Ecologi, which was a huge step in our journey to becoming a climate-positive workforce. Ecologi is an organisation that helps SMEs find ways to reduce their carbon footprint and environmental impact, with over 19,000 businesses and 40,000 members signed up to their initiative.

When we joined in 2021, we knew that it was the right decision and we knew that it would help us do our part to be greener and make a positive difference to the environment. But when you see the numbers that Ecologi helpfully provides, it really does open your eyes! At the time of writing, we have funded 18,252 trees, saved 1,078.4 tonnes of carbon dioxide and funded 48 climate-positive projects. To help put that into perspective, our work with Ecologi has helped to plant 18 times the amount of oak trees in Sherwood Forest.

Some of the projects we’ve helped to support include:

  • Avoiding methane emissions from landfill in Brazil
  • Protecting the Matavén forest in Eastern Colombia
  • Solar and wind power projects in Morocco
  • Distributing cleaner cookstoves in Kenya
  • Conserving and restoring peatland in Indonesia
A graphic showing our eco-achievements. We've saved the carbon equivalent of 827 flights, 3,235 square metres of sea ice, and 2,675,510 of miles in a car.

We’re really proud of this and we’re so impressed by what Ecologi are doing, and we can’t wait to fund more trees, more projects and save more carbon dioxide year after year.
