Christmas is fast approaching and while it might be a little different for us this year, many of us are fortunate to have a home and family to celebrate with (even if that is via Zoom).

Throughout 2020 RKH has been supporting The Y, a Leicester-based homeless charity whose work has become even more important during the pandemic. As well as helping with a range of marketing projects, our Sleep Out in September raised over £2,500. This month, the charity is taking part in The Big Give where every donation they receive will be matched.

With the majority of funding for the charity coming from sources that have been squeezed themselves this year, we wanted to play our part in helping The Y to continue to deliver the fantastic work they do. That’s why we have decided to forgo the Christmas cards and gifts we’d normally send this year and instead make a £2,000 donation to the charity. With a top up from The Big Give initiative, The Y will receive £4,000 which we hope will make a difference to those most in need during this festive season.

We’re delighted to announce that we will continue to support The Y through 2021 and we’ll be announcing how we’ll be doing that in the new year. In the meantime, from everyone at RKH, we hope you all have a very merry Christmas.
