Announcing our CIPR membership
We're delighted to be members of the Chartered Institute of Public Relations, further strength…
Our PR team continues to grow – meet our newest recruits and get to know them better!
It’s an exciting time for the PR team, with lots to look forward to. Over the last few months we’ve welcomed Natalie, Holly and Samia to our fast-expanding PR team and they’ve quickly become part of the RKH family.
We asked them each a few questions about themselves and their time so far at RKH:
“I’ve worked on some really rich community engagement projects that have enabled me to get to know my clients. For example, we secured kit sponsorship for St Albans Football Club and their Under 13’s boy team and Under 9’s girls team. Because of this, we’ve created a really strong relationship with the club itself which has been lovely. I’m also thrilled to have worked with Hampstead Ladies Rugby Club as supporting women's sports should be such an important part of our communities.”
“I have someone else's handwriting tattooed on me…”
“There’s a real sense of team - and not just in a ‘corporate’ definition. Everyone genuinely wants to support each other and if you need help with something, someone will always volunteer to help you. This is soooo handy when you’re a newbie!”
"A new business proposal about the launch of a new cricket venue was really fun to work on because it's a relatively new area for me (hospitality and sport) and the team pulled together to get something turned around really quickly.
I didn't realise how many common idioms originate from cricket too - there are dozens.
My main account is British Gypsum and I joined at a really opportune time because they were launching a big campaign and we’re starting 2023 planning. Having worked on construction / B2B brands for 10 years I genuinely love the industry and am looking forward to developing our PR offering even further."
"I was a contestant on the 00s TV spelling competition Hard Spell - but didn't get very far!
(Not that interesting and I roll this one out everywhere but I am really a very boring person)"
"The recruiter described it as "the agency for people who aren't sure if agency life is for them anymore" and so far that's come true: you have the pace and variety of an agency without the ego, and the flexible working options are excellent."
"It's really hard to just go with one as I've been given the opportunity to work on so many exciting projects so far. However, my favourite has been the social media content that I created for RKH, asking 'what is the one thing you can't live without at work?' to the members of the office. It was really fun and exciting, getting to engage with everyone and capturing the fun lively moments."
"I am a photographer, I engage myself in fashion, product and portrait photography in my free time. It has become a hobby of mine and now anything I look at which seems aesthetic, I can't help but capture it!"
"The best thing about working at Rock Kitchen Harris, something I always boast about to my friends as well is the work culture. Everyone here is so lovely and understanding, I really feel like a part of the family! I also find it really important to work in a company where your mental health is given a priority, I couldn't emphasise enough on how well RKH takes care of its employees."
